Perhaps he was thinking when he saw the swans is St James's Park that he was back at the Abbotsbury swannery in his Dorset constituency.

... er was he carrying his papers in a Tesco's placcie bag ....[i find it difficult to find anything much to be bothered about but it is amusing ... although the first constituent who had his letters put in the bin would not be amused i suppose, but if there was anything to be had in that bin it would have been all over the front pages of the rags by now eh]
it is what Mr Letwin [late of N M Rothschild Corporate finance Ltd] gets up to in his office and clubs that bothers me far more ....According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Oh 'ello, one minute it's Prime Minister Cameron & Coulson and now it's Dr Fox and Werrity - those Tories and their judgement calls
Former Defence Secretary Liam Fox was warned about his working relationship with Adam Werritty, an official report says.
Sir Gus O'Donnell's report says the risks were raised with him by both his private office and permanent secretary.
Ex-Defence Secretary Liam Fox ignored warnings about his working relationship with Adam Werritty, an official report says.

yes, dis-Astor .... what!
tally ho - trot on mangerton!
There is also a plug for her mother Lady Annabel Astor's furniture chain, Oka.
Why did Tory leader's wife feel the need to tell Americans her favourite christening gift* is a bubblegum-pink calfskin Bible costing £150?* We don't suppose it could be anything to do with the opening of Smythson of Bond Street in Los Angeles?
lady annabel astor is apparently cameron's mother in law. so, how close to 'home' is lord astor, pm-wise? (though there might well be lots of astors).
