    Hitchens on waterboarding

Why anyone would go through the experience of waterboarding is beyond me never mind that you're a 40 a day guy and pushing 60. But I was persuaded by Christopher Hitchens reasons in R4's 'Book of the Week' this morning. He paints that picture of the people who put him through the process, the shame that he hadn't lasted longer and the contrasting arguments about whether it is torture or not. I found it fifteen gripping minutes of radio.
