Most of Dennis Potter's work has been repeated within the last ten years. An exception is his 1965 play 'Alice' (about Lewis Caroll), which was only rediscovered comparatively recently.

It is. It's far more likely they'll flatten the building at White City where BBC World (amongst others) are based.

No - the TV centre is down the road opposite the tube station. Further north from the familiar 'doughnut' TV centre is a large white building (just before the raised section of the A40 Westway) set diagonally to the road where a lot of the offices are - the legal departments, etc etc. That is known as BBC White City...

The BBC White City up the road from TC that you refer to was originally intended for both TV and Radio News, and was completely equipped for broadcasting, with all the infrastructure required. It was then decided to move news to the BH extension, and now they are going to Manchester. Quite what the logic is in this escapes me.

The 'old' doughnut shaped BBC building at White City is on the site of the Franco-British Exhibition (remnants of which still to be seen in Hammersmith Park)

I thought it was built on the site of the White City Stadium which was at the centre of the 1908 Olympics and subsequently hosted one of the 1966 World Cup matches....

no, that was the one: built in 1908 for the olympics - subsequently a greyhound track - demolished 1985 to make way for the new BBC building...
