You know when you've spent too much time here when ...

other members of the board appear in your dreams. I had a dream last night in which I was at a performance of Shostakovitch's 10th symphony (I've no idea what it sounds like, but in the dream it had a lot of rather strange percussion) by a Russian youth orchestra, which was very small & I think perfromaers had to play several instruments.

I'm pretty sure French Frank & Amateur51 were in the audience.

Now THAT'S how rumours start! I love it!

Have you met either of them? How did you know it was them? Dream-knowledge, perhaps...

You know you have spend too much time on the message boards and emailing when you look at your bedside watch in the night to see if you have any new emails.

        From our avatars, of course!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

No, I haven't; & I've got avatars switched off. I just knew it was them, just as I knew it was Shostakovitch's 10th symphony

I wonder what, or who, I'll dream about tonight? Scotty, perhaps?

Surely that was Caliban taking the applause at the end??

I believe that in classical Roman comedies radishes were used for other bed-related activities

I hope you spend your clothing allowance wisely, Am - http://www.independent.co.uk/multime...ag_144662a.jpg

Having sat twitching throughout and consumed excessive quantities of vodka after Ammy and Frenchie left hand-in-hand....

... I'm bombarded with thousands of panic-stricken emails, just because the forum goes down for five minutes

I've switched them on now - heavens, what have I been missing!

Scotty's rather androgynous avatar is particularly appealing
