Sorry, I must be very dim, but what is the connection between Ades, Thomas and Ireland? Just out of idle curiosity.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Oh thanks frenchie. I get the paths reference now, Thomas still has me baffled. Still, Duw, Duw, he's Welsh obviously so had been led down the path by his darling? Typical!

                            Let’s have a different flower.

                            Ireland: Columbine

                                Morning Anna,

I'm just catching up on you night owls. I think doversoul answered your question about 40 minutes before: Thomas Ades - Ambroise Thomas (look carefully now ). Glad you're having fun with the thread too - I tend to leave it for a while and then dip back in. It's too addictive otherwise. Happy New Year!
