Of the back of another thread I suddenly had the idea for a stream in which board members can post picture of their younger selves. Some members prefer to be anonymous but they might be inclined to post some earlier images. Here's one of me for starters, with my brothers, me on the right:

I'll take you up on that...
Here, possibly a year or two older than the cherubic infant Shb, is yours truly, even then happier on wheels (now two or four, rather than three) than on foot...

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Fascinating. Slightly more petulant than your siblings, and why were you clutching an electric razor?

Dare I say that I think we are seeing the difference between the immediate post war years and the more colourful 60s (I think mine had yellow wheels)... Sort of Wolseley Super Six versus Mark 1 Mini, perhaps?"...the isle is full of noises,

Don Petter ... that's no eletric razor - that's my space gun and we're just squaring up for a big shoot out at the OK Coral!
Caliban ... don't you look happy ... Me, as per my avatar I always managed to look very pensive as a child, like I was carrying all the troubles of the world on my little shoulders!

Yes, 'twas very small (120 boarders). This is just the prefects :) The headmaster is the dork in front. He was very weird and used to zoom around the classroom making aeroplane noises while we did our maths. His son was also at the school (the little b**tard shot me with an air rifle).Last edited by Guest; 25-09-11, 21:44.
