Help please with my missing favourites...

As you may have heard, my computer crashed badly about 10 days ago. I have most things back but not my favourites.

I have scrolled back a long way and found one or two on Stormy Weather, where most of them were.

I would love to recover the following and if anyone can give a link to them I would be very grateful.

The BBC Proms Archive, Utube [?} pics of Elgar with Billy Reed and at Maida Vale conducting.

Flanders & Swann songs, Beecham as a young man talking and conducting. That will do for now, I had far too much really.

Delve into the 120-year history of the world's greatest classical music festival.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Sorry to hear it! You know, there's a programme called "Bookmark Wizard" which turns your favourites list into an HTML page: it couldn't be easier to run, and is great to use as a back-up (or for sharing). Anyone feel like putting up a page of their bookmarks in this thread...?

        Er, I don't...nevermind.

Flanders and Swann videos here...just do a search in the box in the upper left corner, and you can find all sorts of good old stuff. Let me know if you can think of anything else; I'm pretty good at digging up things from all sorts of obscure corners.

Just a thought (after the Lord Mayor's Show). You should have a system restore point from more than ten days ago. A restore should get all your references back into the Favourites sub-directory. (You can always reverse the restore if it has any unwanted side effects.)
