Eh? Do you meant the thread is closed again Frenchie, or that issues other than the musical content of tonight's Prom are now to be permitted? :where's that poking tongue emoticon?:

Oh well, it'll be interesting when those who were there report back, probably tomorrow? In the meantime, unless the RAH is the scene of pitched battles and molatov cocktails I think the broadcast should be resumed.

Edit: No update from R3, just straight into a cd. Double edit: HURRAH! We're back!!

Please don't have a go at French Frank, however lightheartedly intended; if this Prom was disrupted by anti-zionists it raises very serious political issues which, since I missed the original thread discussion, I can only say maybe had a bearing on why she closed it down.

We're just now back to the Prom. No explanation whatsoever.

I think the BBC must have known it was a possibility and had the CD handy - probably got it today from HMV ...

This all reminds me of the Wigmore Hall a few months ago. Since then the quartet in qustion have not been back.

Back to the concert, then ... oh, dear
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Here we go then. Let's hope there isn't a second wave of protestors who have so far sat quietly.

I wonder what will happen to the repeat, which is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon next week.

It's all kicked off again - sounded like a Nazi rally; a record is in place

                          Hardly surprising!

Indeed Bryn. Begs a question of RAH security though and, as I said, disruption or not, if they are playing them I would still like to hear them.

Why are the BBC not filling in with some other music until the concert can be resumed? Presumably, it has taken place??
