It was announced on the 10 o'clock BBC1 News that a black-and-white documentary which Loach made about Save the Children in 1969 is to be shown by the BBC. On which channel I am not sure. Apparently the item was withdrawn following protests that parts of it showed STC in a bad light - I understand the taking of African children from their families and encampment - which the organisation has now admitted was not such a bad light after all!
