It certainly didn't when it first came out as a broadsheet print newspaper (and a very good one IMHO).

It morphed considerably since then and I haven't read it for years, so can't speak for its present stance in the monarchy/republic debate.

Watching Frankie Boyle just now - having just finished before it The Windsors: Coronation Special. Lined up for later is Malpractice which despite its title has nothing to do with the Monarchy

This coming Friday afternoon ( 5th May ) our school here in Shanghai will be having a picnic in honour of Chas' Coronation. The kids will love it of course, not because they have any inkling of Royalty or the UK - but for the boon of not having any afternoon lessons. Shame we couldn't have the day off !!
