Nothing here, on a phone that is on 4G (and is 5G capable). Supposedly some phones on Three didn't get it, but mine is on Plusnet, which uses the EE network. Maybe they are too cheap to support things like critical emergency alerts! (they don't support SMS 'short codes' either, which most other networks do).

Mine is a Three phone and there are many reports that Three users didn't receive it.

Definitely louder than my usual 'radar' alerts.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Vodafone here. I suspect it’s just a duff system (‘track & trace’, anyone?) - good thing they tested it, I suppose

Not a sausage on either of my Android phones. No alarm and no text.

Turned off emergency alets days ago, and phone well before the alarm was due.

Nothing happened on turning back on.

I didn't get anything, but didn't expect to - I don't even get texts that I have had to request for verification every time. I note from the Guardian article that there was a message sent to all mobiles about lockdown - another one I didn't get.

Surprisingly well behaved audience at the cinema this afternoon (preview of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry): not a peep!
Can't believe everyone had actually switched their phone off, but maybe I underestimate the sensitivities of those in the cinema membership club.

14:59 here too (Plusnet which uses EE's network I believe).

Android phone's volume was turned right down but STILL the alarm seemed very loud, perhaps overriding unit's settings?
