I wasn't quoting The Times at all
I was quoting a well known Marxist music critics post from Facebook
    See you in court then

Indeed. You simply posted a link to https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...ce&oe=59E27C6A , as anyone caring to check the properties of the image can see.

          !!!

One might well be tempted also to ask how long any of them might stay there...

Both you and Bryn are missing the point. It's still the Times's and Peter Brookes's copyright and intellectual property - you as a fellow-artist should understand about intellectual property. It doesn't cease to be, and become that of your Marxist music critic friend, just because he quotes it on Facebook. Perhaps he's a Times reader. You, perhaps, at least have the excuse of not knowing it was from The Times. It is nothing less than courteous, if one quotes something on the forum (and I've got my forum hat on here), to acknowledge the source. To compound the offence by being childishly rude simply makes matters worse.

Wife: I'm going here to buy shoes, what are you going to do?
Husband: I'm going to Spain for a fortnight!

From Alexei Sayle's new radio show:

Father: What d'yer fancy for the National?

Upwardly mobile university-educated Son: Oh I don't know - Peter Hall's production of Troilus and Cressida?

Definitely - there's a link to it in my post!

My parents used to shudder at the mention of a notorious Communist family who lived just round the corner from us...I can't be absolutely sure now, but I think it must have been the Sayles.

Alexei went to the same primary school as me, but about ten years later.

Alexei Sayle - fancy! Good to be reminded he's still around.
