    On-topic starter:

Yesterday evening, I had to change a lightbulb. I went
out a bit later - as I crossed the road, there was a chicken
coming the other way. Then I walked into a
bar with an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman.
I realised my life was just one big joke.

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

My wife is taking me out shopping tonight.
She said I need new clothes as I look too middle aged.
I'm gutted. I love my suit of armour.

Man walks into a baker's shop and asks for a loaf of bread.

The assistant says 'white or brown'?

The man says, 'it doesn't matter, I've got me bike outside' !!!!!!!!!!

I started a business selling hot cakes.

                                They sold reasonably well.
