I remember some comic pointing out years ago that all humour is at someone's expense. You can never predict who might be offended and the only way of ensuring that you never cause any is never to make any jokes.

ts: true, but the 'joke, if there is one' is more centrally about a wide public perception about China's economic outputs, which is hardly 'racism' as such. And in this case, public perception is very highly justified, as witness:
