It has been proven beyond doubt in this thread that chicken cross the road for various reasons. Therefore, since chicken cross the road, if the duck crosses a road, it is a chicken, and therefore chicken. A truly brave duck would not cross the road to prove that it, in fact, wasn't chicken. But than again, to stay somewhere safe counts as behavior that is clearly chicken. So all ducks are chicken(s) in any case.
