That doesn't appeal to my sense of houmus.

I know it's somewhere in these pages, but I can never let a chance pass to recall that Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote the 'Hokey Cokey' died the other week aged 83. The most traumatic part for the family was getting him in the coffin. They put his left leg in and things just started to go downhill from there.

A boy had his heart set on becoming an actor. He finally landed a part in his school play. He ran home very excited to tell his dad the great news.

"That's fantastic," he said "Who do you play ? "

His son answered, " I play a guy who's been married for over twenty years, just like you Dad."

He laughed and said, "That's great son, maybe next time you'll get a speaking part"

A sharp decline in the number of mating owls has been blamed on the exceptionally wet weather.

Apparently it's too wet to woo.

They've just brought out a Shakespearian Sat Nav. It gets you from A to B, or not to B.
