This would lower the current tone of the politics thread but I thought some might be amused.
Since a certain J Hunt started to appear again I've been puzzling who he reminds me of, and a stray BTL comment provided the answer - Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf. What was left as a puzzle was what was causing the startled expression he has been displaying the past couple of days. The fifth paragraph down here https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...ra-jeremy-hunt provides a possible answer, courtesy of Marina Hyde.

Just been reading some comments elsewhere online and someone whose first language is not English had posted with a mistake s/he subsequently corrected, blaming autocorrect for the original error. I like this version of a common lament.
Autocorrupt he big pain in arsenal.

A man goes into the pharmacy and says to the Chemist, 'Have you got something for hiccups?'
The Chemist leans over and slaps the guy in the face.
'What did you do that for?', says the guy.
'Well you've not got hiccups now, have you?'
'No,' says the man, 'but my wife out in the car's still got them.'

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments

I've just returned from a two-week ballooning holiday. I managed to put on four stone.
