"Love Ireland" and "Britten's Got Talent"

Patrick Allies' tweet "Just had a rejection from Radio 3" made me smile (esp. the "rehearsal footage" & "one a month"), as did the replies.

Next month try 'Britten's Got Talent'. Same format.
    Dr Francis Young
Delius How To Cook, a cookery show where contestants are challenged to prepare dishes inspired by the music of Frederick Delius
    Dr Francis Young
Tippett In The Family, heartwarming family show where children have to guess the work by Michael Tippett based on hearing just a few bars hummed by grandma
    Philip Blackledge
Better brush up my pitch for "Purcell non bio" - a competition where we have to discuss Henry Purcell without mentioning anything biographical.
    John Leman Riley
Bax to the Future. Three series.

"By all means keep sending us ideas, but do try and keep it to one a month, like we agreed."

Also the response: "And do please remember the terms of the restraining order…"
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
