Some news. After 4.5 years at the Royal Academy of Music, I am so excited to have accepted the role of Head of Communications – Classical Music for the BBC, which I’ll start in July. I’ll be working on the overall strategy for classical, and an amazing portfolio including Radio 3, BBC Proms, BBC Performing Groups and the ambitious Eastbank BBC Music Studios project. I’m really sad to be leaving the Academy, it’s an extraordinary place, but I'm really looking forward to starting this new role working with some of the best in the business!

Oops. Could a Host please correct the spelling error in the thread title and extend it to ". . . Communications - Classical Music for the BBC", please?

He's a fine musician in his own right. He is active with the experimental vocal/theatrical group, Vocal Constructivists. This looks a very propitious appointment, to me.
