    It isn't twaddle at all, but it confirms what I believe - that music is neither right nor left handed. You need both and all this talk of the "unfortunate" left-handed players is largely misplaced.
    I sometimes have to play for a left-handed conductor who beats time the wrong way round - quite unnecessarily, as he could have learnt to do down-left-right-up just as easily as down-right-left-up. I've tried conducting using my left hand, and there's no problem making the switch.
