How I see it is that , whatever else one thinks about ECs views, his stand on domestic vaccine passports is correct.
Todays’s issue is a crash in the system . No real surprise there. The practical problems alone should be enough to see these abominations binned .
They have absolutely no basis in science, and no demonstrable public health benefit.Two parliamentary committees found that they had no justification. They are discriminatory. They carry very significant dangers in terms of the relationship between the individual and the state . They are an absolute disaster waiting to happen,( well happening here and now in fact ) and they will be a truly terrible legacy to hand to future generations.
We should resist them every inch of the way, because we may have to look those future generations in the eye one day, and explain ourselves.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I unequivocally support his anti VP stance.
I'm not clear what his stance on vaccines in general is. But in any case the term " anti Vaxxer " is far too often applied to people who are not , in fact, anti vaccine.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I've not noticed any reference to nutritional status providing an adequate defence against Covid 19 - does anyone know, is that a thing for SARS?
I'd be quite interested as I have regular blood tests for my nutritional status, and take the supplements. Compared to the price of a shot of the Pfizer / Moderna vaccines, I should think a blood test for the vitamin status would be a cheaper and less resource-intensive way of cutting down the need to vaccinate. Has anyone come across mention that this might be a viable option?
Just wondering, as I'll get offered a booster before long, and have had my flu vaccine (and am wondering about a Shingles vaccination). I'm not going to mass sporting events, nightclubs nor am I interested in foreign travel for the foreseeable future so I won't be needing a passport I think........

"Jab" is an example of the punchy one-syllable words loved by the tabloids (but not only) for banner headlines. "Slam" (ie "criticise" in this thread title is another one. Some others:
woe = sadness, suffering
axe = dismiss, cancel
clash = disagreement
hail= welcome, acclaim
hit = affect badly
snub = reject(ion)
etc

Eric Clapton went from setting the standard for rock guitar to making racist rants to becoming a vaccine skeptic. Was he always like this?
The Rolling Stone article does not mention anything about vaccine passports, not even once. It's all about Clapton's stance on vaccines (and the effect on his livelihood, so more than a bit of self-interest there). Clapton has clearly and unfortunately thrown his weight behind anti-vax lunatics like Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who even wants to ban private corporations from implementing vaccine mandates within their own organizations. Clapton is on the wrong side of science on this one. Doesn't affect his musical achievements, but being a great guitarist does not give him license to speak about other subjects where he is not well informed. And anyone like Michael Knowles (cited in the article) who seriously ranks Clapton over Anthony Fauci as an authority on COVID and infectious diseases is, to put it very politely, an imbecile.
