    Faulty goods problem

I recently bought some LED lights from Amazon. One set were working (based on a sample of one), but not matching the quality of light we wanted - the lights have to match some in existing fittings, so I sent them back immediately and requested a refund.

I then ordered another set with a different specification - pack of 6. The first light out of the box did not work. Eventually tested all of the LED lights. Out of six lights only two work.
I should be able to return the box for yet another refund, but can I keep the lights which actually do work and match our existing fittings and lights?

Is there any other sensible procedure for this situation? I don't want to pay for six lights in order to have two which actually work, but I don't necessarily want to return bulbs which are working while I wait for yet another delivery.

I don't normally like using the chat thing on websites, but I had a problem with Amazon a while back and it was helpful, admittedly with a lost delivery, which may be a more 'vanilla' question than yours.

It was definitely more help than the First Direct online thing!

Have you tried Amazon’s customer service to suggest a solution or if it is a merchant messaging them? Chances are one or other will say we’ll replace the whole thing but don’t bother to send the other set back as they’ll only junk it anyway - but then I may be totally wrong in my assumptions!
