Blimey, Barbs, I wondered what on earth I was talking about. I did note with some interest that one of the whites I had (an albariño) was similar to what Ms Truss had at the recent 'business' bash at that cosy little club. Probably not the identical one as theirs cost about £50 per bottle and my three were nearer £20 each. I still dream about it though
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
