One of my choirs has found a very large, continuous covered area at a local secondary school (anything to keep the pupils outside in wet lunch breaks!).
Once we have moved a few table tennis tables, 4 groups of 30 (NO mixing between voice parts - at least until in the car park - for couples etc) . We can rehearse, and will have an informal concert, we hope, on the adjacent grassy area.

Perhaps we should have pencils, with the option of "Up yours Oliver Dowding!" for sale......
He shouldn't be allowed all the credit for the amateur choir difficulties, he'll think he's been successful at something. He has been aided and abetted by others, whether actively or by default, in his philistine ignorance.

... if 'borrowed without consent', then I don't think its being personalised will help you. I think i still have somewhere a pencil with the name of a future Bishop of Durham which I 'borrowed' when using his college rooms back in 1969...

        .
They do sometimes get abandoned after having been nabbed "just quickly" so a name can help when the post event(rehearsal/concert) clear up occurs.
