The Supreme Mary Wilson dies aged 76

So sad to hear about the death of the great Mary Wilson, founder member of the trailblazing 60's Motown group, The Supremes. Although overshadowed by Diana Ross, she always seemed a lovely and most talented person. The Supremes gave us so many great songs and paved the way for lots of girl and African American groups that would follow. RIP Mary.
The Motown trio were known for hits such as Baby Love and You Can't Hurry Love.

She was interviewed on TV - can't have been more than a few years ago - and in many ways hardly seemed to have aged at all.

The longest serving Supreme and less of a diva than Ms Ross - I never really thought that their rebranding as DR & Supremes was justified! I saw them at the FTH in the late 60s - they were good. RIP Mary
