I used to think that "water is water is water" - though some tasted "odder" than others - perhaps often due to lead pipes in houses I visited, or the hardness - or not - of the water supply.
Some years ago we went to Italy, and saw some sparkling water in a supermarket - reasonable price. Took it back to our hotel room. Looked like water - but tasted absolutely horrible. Didn't make much difference what it was used for - making tea, coffee etc. It was always horrible - almost undrinkable.
Looked at the analysis on the bottles - assuming that had been done correctly, and there were minute traces of all sorts of things, but nothing obviously wrong with any of them.
After that I changed my view as to whether very small quantities of other materials in water can affect taste. I'm prepared to believe that the water in those bottles was at least 99% pure (though it would have been acidic - due to the carbonation) - but the other 1% ruined the taste.
I'm still reasonably tolerant of different waters, but sometimes there's an outlier which is just way off scale.

Possible problems heading in the opposite direction, according to a BBC News report:
'UK retailers are considering abandoning goods returned by EU customers, with some even thinking of burning them due to the cost and trouble of bringing them back into the country'
I assume its the goods, and not the customers, that will be committed to the flames.

I do need that initial first-half-bottle fizz re.digestion.....so it has to be sparkling to some degree.... more guidance would be gratefully appreciated....
I'll take another gander at the site.... d'you find delivery quick & straightforward? Will they "leave on step if no reply" etc...?
UPDATE....... Frenchclick are taking NO NEW ORDERS until 29/01/20
"We are not currently taking new orders. We anticipate orders will be taken again from Friday 29/01"....
Not too promising, right? Who knows what will happen after that.....?
Stupid bloody Brexit strikes again...God this is going to be miserable.......
USA struggling free of their nightmare, but UK is stuck in a recurring one....

I appear to have that book on my Kindle from a while back but haven't read it yet. Some of the same characters, told from a different viewpoint, it appears.
