A Happy New Year for all forumists

2020 has been an interesting year in so many ways.

I'd like to thank:
fellow hosts - ardcarp, DracoM, Globaltruth, kernelbogey and Nick Armstrong;
the admin team - french frank (whose much appreciated continuing support has been constant in my first year of steering the ship), Mark Sealey and Andrew Slater;
ferneyhoughgeliebte (greatly missed) for handing over the reins in such great shape;
all who have contributed so much of interest to make this one of the best places on the web;
the many new members who have joined us in 2020.

So, on to 2021.
Just keep to the rules.

Thank you EA and the same to you. I am so grateful to those working behind the scenes and to those who post for the little bubble of sanity, entertainment and learning that is this forum. Ian Skelly spoke movingly this morning about the messages he's had from those for whom R3 has been a comfort and 'friend' in very difficult times, and I feel rather the same way about here. I was at a loss when recent technical blips put it out of action; it highlighted the extent to which, as my world has contracted and become increasingly inward-looking, this provides not only a window out but a necessary reminder to do that looking out.
