Years after Apple decreed that they didn't like Adobe's Flash on systems, Adobe has now issued an EOL warning for Flash Player. This states that effectively all "modern" websites should conform, more or less, to modern "standards", such as HTML 5, and should therefore be able to run any fancy stuff which formerly was perhaps only possible from with animation tools included with players, such as the Flash Player. Adobe is withdrawing support, and suggests that users uninstall all instances of Flash Player forthwith, and ideally before the end of the year.
I will be happy to oblige .....but I'll bet that some sites don't work once I do.
