I found the BEANOLD understandably a bit tame, but chortled a lot at the Beano itself: I loved the fact that they shop at WiDL, where one of the notices says that sprouts count as 13 of your 5-a-day, and the manager, despite having L and R on the soles of his shoes, still has them on the wrong feet.
