      They were on a train - not sure where - so no chance for any Drop the Dead Donkey tricks of sneaking "extra" players in round the back!

        After that I stumbled across this - and my first surprise was to hear Zander. I didn't think/know he was/is English - but he clearly is - so I looked him up.

        This is cello music - but at 4 minutes in Zander plays the a few bars of the 1st Bach prelude from the 48 for keyboard. He puts the accent in a different place in the left hand from what I would have expected - I’m not sure it should go like that, but it’s interesting. Is it a big deal that he discovered a 7 bar phrase? Not sure.
