News reports say he died with coronavirus, not necessarily because of it. Saying that it killed him is being sensationalist and not necessarily true.

If a headline like the title of this thread appeared in a newspaper it would be called irresponsible journalism. It is more of an insult to someone recently departed to jump to a conclusion and use such an emotive word as "killed", rather than taking a measured view and waiting for the truth to emerge. The BBC say that he died with the virus.
