      Better Norton than McAfee

(almost as "Box of Frogs" as Jezza's Brother the "Great scientist" according to mr Johnson )

It was nice in Redditch this year not having the fair round Easter time.

I see that bursaries are being awarded to several artists instead - 10 to receive £10,000 each - which, regardless of one's view of the whole thing and the prizewinners in previous years, has to count as something of a good news story. And yes I know - that money could be spent on much more worthwhile and inclusive projects etc etc(but it wouldn't would it if it is there solely for the Turner Prize), but let's face it money going to the arts isn't happening an awful lot just now is it, so isn't something better than nothing?
Last year shared rather than single prize, this year bursaries, what in future I wonder.

                Anniversaries - rhymes with bursaries.

Anyway, Michael Rosen is out of intensive care, following 8 weeks in hospital, according to his wife as mentioned on Jeremy Corbyn's facebook.

Most shops are reopening. And we can go to the zoo.

Yes, it’s good news about the shops.
And I expect that people who like working in zoos are happy about reopening, as they won’t have jobs there if they dint reopen soon.

I'm not that keen on shops
so avoid them as much as possible
unless Paxmans has reopened? then that IS good news

I’m not a very keen shopper, but I do like the fact that people can buy our books in bookshops, ( and other types of shop) and that there is still a decent alternative, in many places, to shopping online.

It helps keep me , my colleagues and our authors in work.

Yep, good news about Michael Rosen.

Well I think for many the worry is the welfare of the animals if the money runs out because there are no visitors so no income. The income will be much reduced as it is because of lower numbers and restrictions/closure of money makers like the on-site shops and cafes.
