Not sure if this is the best thread, but never mind....
Sent by a neighbour, who is happy for it to have wide circulation.
Where have all the flowers gone?
This video is guaranteed to make you smile, perhaps laugh, perhaps shed a litle tear, and it will unquestionably lighten the covid gloom...
It was organised by Tom Guthrie, the son of a friend of mine - he's the person you see right at the beginning. He's on Radio 3's 'In Tune' about it this coming Wednesday. (Spot the well-known opera singers, not to mention the numerous members of the Royal Opera House chorus...)

That was lovely. Some really fine voices among that lot, and the pros were throttling back!
I'm intrigued how this is actually done. Maybe this should be on the Techie board, but I have a few questions:
1. How does the master editor compile all the individual contributions?
2, How does the master arranger (parts, key changes, etc) send all the music in advance?
3. How to the participants synchronise? OK I know they're using their phones, but often there is a delay of varying lengths.
It's something we'd like to do with our family, but haven't the faintest idea how to set about it.
