Wonderful story from the Olympics about the two high jumpers who decided to share the Gold Medal....
I recall after the scandalously unfair end of the Formula 1 season (which had been one of the best until the final lap of the final race..) wondering if the Red Bull team had thought of doing the same; offering to declare Hamilton and Verstappen joint winners.
I couldn't really blame young Max after his first ever Championship (whose body language in interview later, when he admitted to being a "lucky winner" seemed a little unsure...) but the Red Bull team leaders looked far too cock-a-hoop-gung-ho for it ever to have occurred to them.
But imagine how we all would have felt if, like those two athletes, they had reached out.....
