I do hope we aren't going to get like those uncouth Australians boasting and crowing about winning....it's a sad sad day for Indian cricket, but I hope we at least keep this winning streak in proportion....

Surely we can crow like the Australians for a few days at least.

I was away from radio/tv for under two hours today and India collapsed from about 220-3 to 9 down in the meantime.

A good omen for England in the sub contintent is that on the first wicket that has really taken spin it was Swann who took the wickets, match figures of 9-208 against Misrah's 0-170. Monty, Rashid, Treadwell and young Briggs and Borthwick are all useful and possible tourists over the next couple of winters.

The most impressive thing about England is that Onions, Tremlett, Finn and Panesar are also a formidable, and proven, test attack.
