England collapsing ... India can now win this match!

I'm in. One of my favourites this. The best bit for me is at 6.47 where you can feel the tension as the paint really begins to dry. Is there a highlights DVD available?.

Sorry, I can't see the point of people who don't like cricket at all posting here. The topic isn't "What do you think of cricket?" There are loads of things that bore me on these boards but I wouldn't get into a general conversation about their merits or demerits unless the topic invited it. On less genteel corners of the internet this kind of thing is called "thread crapping."

well said burning dog! take a dump somewhere else you people please .....

it is in fact one of the most intense test matches, fiercely contested with reversals of fortune that have been breathtaking yesterday; Sharma had a magical spell when he was unplayable [and answered a point about KP eh] ... and then Prior and Broad with the bat .... unmissable cricket ... and it could still end in a draw ....

the Indians are clearly under prepared, and so the later matches in the series could be a much tougher proposition for England as the tourists acclimatise and sort out their fitness and injuries ...

Point well-made & taken about KP, calum but India have just come back from a tour of West Indies so the uninjured should be match-fit.

ALL results are possible - a great Test match so far and a fascinating final day in propect!

Though Tendulkar, Sehwag (who might play in the 3rd test) and Zaheer did not play in the WI tour, am51. Nor did Yuvraj, who might be a replacement for Raina in the next test to give the bowling a bit more variety.

If this match were being shown on terrestrial TV instead of Sky there might be several millions watching the conclusion here rather than hundreds of thousands

point well made aeolium and not without relevance to another thread [or two!]

Tremlett sounding threatening, not Anderson's test so far ....

Laxman caught Bell, bowled ANDERSON ... let's hope he has a really good day!

or Tendulkar, who is just at the wicket ......

                            Point taken.
Perhaps I should start a paint drying/grass growing/underwater soot juggling thread.

Oh, please do. Any of the above are more interesting than cricket.....

Whilst for once I cannot disagree with you, I have nevertheless to ask what kind of remark that is supposed to be, coming as it does from a professional Enlgishman who has Elgar and his bicycle as his messageboard avatar?
