It may be normal, but many people, myself included, often just hit the buttons anyway. The consequences come along later.

I just had a note today from Firefox that it has now blocked social media sites, such as Facebook, which it claimed was tracking me.

The online “world” is full of things which may not be helpful, and some which are downright malicious. Also “good” things can be switched to being “bad” with hardly any effort, or awareness by those who might be affected.
