I wanted to buy some tin whistles tonight, but when I came to checkout I found that both the models I'd selected have a minimum order requirement of two (2). This seemed strange to me, as I had a similar one not too long ago, and there was no minimum order number then. I've not come across this particular quirk in Amazon before.
Another oddity I noticed last week was that some food and drink items are now classed as Pantry items. The "advantage" of this from Amazon's point of view is that it hides the postage until checkout - even with a Prime subscription. Thus an item which looks a good bargain, appears less so when the postage is added on. This does seem to be a change, as I had similar items before which were not classed under the Pantry section, so that delivery was included within the Prime membership. Of course the disadvantage to Amazon is that I clicked away from the potential purchases.
