Assassinating a foreign potentate IS terrorism, whichever way you look at it. Quite how that is supposed to decrease the amount of terrorism in the world is not at all clear to me. On the other hand, shares in the US "defence" industry have shot up since that murder, which is good for Trump and his chums.

.......... but I don't agree that Qasem Soleimani was a terrorist, any more than say Bush or Blair were. But he was key in extending Iran's religious revolution and its perfidious credo to its Middle East neighbours, and for that reason, I too am glad he's gone.
One gets used to having one's threads 'hijacked'! I don't mind unless people get angry and launch personal attacks, which has been known to happen.

A valuable piece of advice which I've always tried to follow. A little humour sometimes helps unless people have locked horns so fiercely that the red mist has descended and the joke is wasted on them!

Although you're 100% correct, I'm afraid that this forum is the wrong place to air such views as you will find/have found. Most of them would simply invite terrorists round for a nice cup of tea.

                Don't be ridiculous.

Trump doesn't like tea, "nice" or otherwise.

Rollup, Rollup, only £25 for a vote in the election of the next Labour leader and you don't even have to be an LP member.

I wonder how many of the LP's enemies will sign up to vte for whoever they think will make the least effective leader?

I've already seen comments elsewhere to that effect.... Is there no end to the incompetence of the LP?
