I wasn't disagreeing with the article at all. The Home Office link was there to highlight the disconnect between what it says it's about and doing, and what the article and so many others like it say is actually happening.

I feel that Britain's American poodles' halfhearted response to Trump's attempts to precipitate WW3 from Iraq and Iran will hasten a mutually satisfactory outcome to this matter of a post-Brexit EU trading deal. I could of course be wrong, given that we're dealing with stubbornly inflexible people on all sides here.

.......... but I don't agree that Qasem Soleimani was a terrorist, any more than say Bush or Blair were. But he was key in extending Iran's religious revolution and its perfidious credo to its Middle East neighbours, and for that reason, I too am glad he's gone.
