It was stupid. Green Bay had the best red zone offense in the league. 4th down from the 8 yard line shouldn’t be that difficult for Aaron Rodgers & Co. And you just DONT give the ball back to the G.O.A.T., aka Tom Brady, with 2.5 minutes left in the game and expect to see it again.

Yes, that's interesting analysis (especially the article) - clearly more factors involved than I realised! And the coach had to make the decision quickly, in the heat of the moment. Still seems strange to give the ball back to Tom Brady while 5 points down and only 2 minutes on the clock...

Yes, and I suspect Mr Finegold is not to be persuaded otherwise..!

          So, who do we think.....?

          Sounds about right!

Heart says Bucs for old times' sake, but head say Chiefs.

Thinking about staying up to watch it live, though I have quite a heavy work day on the Monday - so if it's a poor game I'll regret it!

Since getting into the sport, my loyalties have been shared by the Chiefs and the Bears, so it’s not complicated for me.

Plus my retirement circadian rhythm seems to correspond pretty precisely with ET so I’ll be glued

No doubt in Missouri as well.
It looks like the only penalty will be that two of the Chiefs reserves won't be able to practice, but will be able to play, in the game

The video in this tweet is a great watch, the first match-up between Brady and Mahomes, 2018 week 6:

I don’t think anyone predicted this lopsided of a game. Certainly Tampa was thought to have a chance, with Tom Brady as their QB, and a rising defense that pressured and contained Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, but this wasn’t close. They shut Mahomes out of the end zone and shut them out completely in the second half. Brady played very well but Tampa’s defense won the game. Last game they contained Rodgers and Davontae Adams, yesterday Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. Kelce got some yards but by then the game was over.
Tampa first two touchdowns were Brady to Gronkowski, a combination that the New England Patriots must have utilized a zillion times. My wife’s family lives in New England and are rabid Patriot Fans, so it was very bittersweet to see that duo triumph again while the Pats had their first losing season sine Bill Clinton was President and appear headed to mediocrity without Brady

I watched to the end, even when the result was certain, and enjoyed it. I agree that it was the ferocious Bucs defensive line that won the game for them - Mahomes was left pretty much unprotected at times and was never allowed time to come up with the big plays. According to ESPN stats, Mahomes was forced to run 497 yards before passing or being sacked (many of them in full retreat), which was the most by any QB in any game all season - the Bucs defence should have won a collective MVP award!
