      At least the horse does not have to be dead, and the hair does re-grow if not chopped off too near the base, so that at least might be OK

      Except probably not, as the horse has not given knowing consent to the procedure, nor understands the end use.

                            You know, the old vegetarian/vegan-bashing jokes are always the best. I'm neither, but I do admire their attempts to create a better environment, both for animals and for the human race.
