It's happened - Radio 3 has become my deafult day time listening

I guess there is no going back. The Iplayer radio downloads are to blame and the fact it orders stuff via days left. I've got into a habit each work of going through and finding shows of interest and downloading them and then waiting till they are about to expire before listening. A wonderful way to make a work day more enriching. R3 is fab we should recognise the outstanding bits it does well.

Few would deny that, but it's not "radio" as we've known and loved it.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Very true - when I look through Gnome and I see concerts at breakfast and genuinely interesting spoken word programmes I'm saddened it's a R3 I never got to hear or will know (I'm in early 30s)
