No, no, just following the local press coverage and the nationals. This was the kind of basket chair I had in mind, suitable for an elderly basket case, no longer fit for duty

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

f f, I suspected that was what you meant and hoped it was not so - hence my awkward query. At least you were not watching television! But, I'm sorry to learn that you are incapacitated. Best wishes.

Many thanks, Padraig. I exaggerate just a little, though demonstrations of this kind are a bit beyond me - the police were expressing concern about public safety with so many people expected, so I didn't want to add to their problems. At least I can donate to the reinstatement of College Green which was left a complete quagmire - it could have been Glastonbury.

College Green's groundspersons should have used General Purpose Mixed Lawnseed as opposed to Golf Course Gold Standard.

I'll just say 'Welcome Back' Greta - I see she is in the news again, which means she is up to something. I do hope so.

Just given away a million euros prize money to climate change charities.

Some associates of Greta here, doing their bit to attract attention to another problem that won't go away.

The environmental group aims to highlight issues like the extraction of peat and plastic pollution.

FF means GT has given away the euros.
Or was that supposed to be a joke response to FF?

Thank you, CS, I missed that acknowledgement. May I say would do the same if I had it - no use for that kind of money

And yes, happy 18th birthday (that's to GT, CS, not you)

Greta had a farewell tweet for Trump as he boarded his helicopter on leaving the White House today.

“Chill Donald, Chill!” Climate activist Greta Thunberg recycled the patronizing words Donald Trump used to attack her in 2019.Subscribe to HuffPost today: h...
