Peter Tork dies at 77

I was a great lover of the Monkees TV show when I was a teen. It was required Saturday evening viewing. Very sorry to hear about Peter Tork's death - the lovable lad gave me a lot of laughs and some fine tunes too.

Indeed - this was mentioned on the "What Rock etc" Thread. I, too, greatly enjoyed watching the TV shows (over 50 years ago!) - and I'm still fond of the songs, too.

The Monkees was avid tv viewing for us lot. Very sad.

Monkees Headquarters was a fave record of mine way back then, Lat - Peter kicks off this bit of fun.
