Games played over the festive season, just good old family favourites which all ages seem to enjoy - Rummy, Sevens, Old Maid, Domino's ( Maltese Cross, Fives & Threes ), Rummikub, Fish Flower Fruit and older games including Ker Plunk, Mouse Trap and Jack Straws.

Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, Draughts: whatever happened to?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I play Luxor and snakes & ladders with my learning disabled clients. It's great fun!

Perhaps people got board with them....
221B Baker Street sounds like the ideal game for people to play in their Ho[l]mes.

We were bought 221b Baker St for xmas, a sort of souped up Sherlock based Cluedo.
Is that Baker Street one the same as the Sherlock Holmes card game? We played that this afternoon - now beginning to understand the rules. Seems complicated, and the rules are/were difficult to make out, though perhaps we’d had too much liquid refreshment then. Seems easier now.

Similarly for Perudo, which was also incomprehensible a week ago.
