On the very day that this thread was started, my Christmas present was a lonely night in Lewisham Premier Inn, followed by a lonely breakfast in the same establishment. Things could only get better, and they did.

And a thread started by the much missed pastoralguy. I do hope he is well, after this very difficult year, and will, in time, re-join the Forum.

I've been told that I have to wait until 20.01.2021 for my Christmas present, but am assured that I'll like it and it should, DV, last for at least 4 years.
I got various kinds of chocolate (Cadbury's Heroes, Toblerone, Chocolate Orange) a Klimt calendar, underwear and the recent Schubert COE/Harnoncourt boxed set (Hooray!). Plus a tooth brush and a jumper.
Present to myself, those Beethoven Cello Sonatas (on CD now, lovely gatefold) with Altstaedt/Lonquich.....and becoming a part of my soul and my heart, right now.......
That Trane T-shirt is superb. I have received quite a lot of unhealthy stuff but also The Murder of Professor Schlick by David Edmunds which I’m very much looking forward to reading.
I thought so too. The only catch is it came with a note saying 'cold wash only'... might have to hand wash it it seems, if I'm that interested in its preservation - because I've had other nice tee-shirts (e.g. a Miles one, a Mahavishnu one) that have fairly quickly had the print on them washed off...
