    Harold Farberman, RIP

    I just noticed that Harold Farberman died a few weeks ago - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Farberman

    He conducted the first set of Ives symphonies which I had.

    Same here, and I note they are in the 75p bargain mp3 box deal. Indeed, it was him conducting Ives's Over the Pavements, broadcast on the Third Programme which was the first Ives I ever heard. R.I.P. indeed. A true pioneer where Ives was concerned.
