I've just watched again, with great pleasure, a DVD which I bought in a charity shop a few months ago. Called 'A Night At the Proms', it features Beethoven's 4th piano concerto with Andreas Haefliger and the BBC SSO conducted by Martyn Brabbins and Nielsen's 4th symphony with the BBC SO conducted by Osmo Vanska. It is numbered BBC Music DVD 001, but doesn't appear to have been issued with the BBC Music Magazine. I was just wondering whether this was a one-off? The performances were recorded in 2004 and 2005 respectively.
