Fortunately, the schedule, plus get_iplayer, remains a fairly straightforward route to downloading, and get_iplayer reminds one to delete downloads after the 30 days imposed by the Beeb."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I am so out-of-it that I am not certain that I am in the proper thread or even how to express my concern. I simply know that one morning I switched on Radio 3, only to find Radio Wales. I made many attempts to find the right wavelength but got nowhere. Since I more or less have given up on Radio 3, it would have come as little surprise had I discovered that it had been removed from the air since the last time I listened, as some other perplexed people suggested. I eventually went to a local shop where I was told that even they had not known about the change. Apparently I can only listen via the television, which is not very convenient if I am not in the same room as the receiver. Although I am within 800 metres of a cabinet with fibre optic facilities, BT refuse to connect me. There is no mobile signal available, so it appears that I have to live, a short distance from the Capitol, in third-world conditions.

I had this happen last year with the weather page and was at a complete loss as to why, not least because even though I hadn't used the site for a long time I knew I wouldn't have changed any of the settings. Attempts to ask for advice from the Beeb led to 'you must have changed the settings at some time'. I can't remember if I fixed it myself or it sorted itself, but as I only use the site very infrequently, for comparison purposes, it wasn't a matter of great importance.
